Welcome to Long Island Pet Professionals (LIPP)! The first and only networking group dedicated to just pet professionals here on Long Island. This networking
group has been created to bring together pet professionals in all areas of the pet industry from Montauk to Manhattan!
Whether you are a dog trainer, veterinarian, groomer, horse farrier, pet store owner, involved in wildlife rescue, a dog or cat rescue organization, horse rescue
organization, pet massage therapist, pet photographer, animal lawyer, shelter worker or just entering the pet professional world – then this is the networking group
for you!
Long Islander’s in this industry had no where to turn to network and work together before LIPP was created. Long Island Pet Professionals is here to change that
and make the industry better for all of us, pet professionals and pet owners! We are coming up on our 3 year anniversary and bringing many new things for the pet
professional on Long Island and throughout our region. With a 97% re-newel rate of Membership - we were just Voted the BEST Networking Group on Long
Island for 2012 by Long Island Press readers!!
Monthly networking meetings take place in different locations across Long Island (Queens, Brooklyn and NYC too) and was started in February of 2009. We now
have over 150 members Island wide and in Queens, Brooklyn, New York City, Staten Island & Westchester - check out our member directory. Our meetings
have been very successful and our “Guest Speaker Series” offers presentations and advice from experts in the pet industry and have covered topics such as:
Media Training, How to Promote Your Pet Business, Twitter Tweetorials, How to Market Your Pet Business or Product, Public Relations for pet businesses &
rescues, How to Grow and Franchise your Pet Business and You're a Non-Profit Animal Rescue Group, Now What? (To name a few topics we have covered).
